SATC TOUR & TUTU PROJECT EVENT RECAP

On Saturday, November 1st, fifty women in pink tutus fluttered around Fifth Avenue before boarding the Sex and the City Hotspots tour bus.  On Location Tours utilized its tour to promote breast cancer awareness and raise proceeds for The Carey Foundation. For a more in-depth look into the day, read Linda Carey’s excerpt below:

Cosmopolitans, cupcakes, and Michael Kors, they’re a great combination on any day, but on November 1st they were exceptionally delightful as Bob and I joined On Location Tours for their Sex and the City Hotspots tour!  Not only was it great to see New York City from a different vantage point, it was fun to trace the steps of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte.  As we moved through streets of the city, video clips rolled and I was reminded of the many poignant moments of the show and how valuable true friendship can be.

We loved touring the city with our friends “Pink Fireman” Marshall and his lovely wife Shannon, but this day was about much more than entertainment. It was about making a significant difference in the lives of women and men living with breast cancer and we can’t thank On Locations Tours enough for your generous offer to donate all proceeds from the day to.
Although, for Bob and I, a thank you doesn’t fully express our gratitude, you’ve touched our hearts deeply and we know that this will have an enormous impact on those diagnosed with breast cancer.

The tour was fantastic and we must add a thank you to our guide Lou for her great story telling and wit. And, to our bus driver, your skill and patience with as you maneuvered through New York City was phenomenal.
