Those looking for a romantic comedy can look no further. Released in 2010 and directed by Gil Junger, this film follows the story of Lane Daniels, an aspiring journalist. Lane gets a corporate job in order to write an undercover story about love in the workplace. As she navigates the complexities of her double life, she catches feelings for her manager, Tom. Lane must then sort out her professional wants with her personal ones. This film takes you along a roller-coaster of career aspirations, hidden identities, and love, offering many laughs in between.

Hilary Duff amusingly plays the role of Lane Daniels. Her love interest, Tom, is acted out by Michael McMillian. Jaime Pressly assumes the character of Kate White, the editor in chief at Cosmopolitan magazine. Lastly, Amanda Walsh was casted as Lane’s best friend, Joanne.
