Make a Movie Workshop

Are you an aspiring filmmaker, director, producer, or just interested in the film industry? Pick any of our New York tours and add our Make a Movie Workshop to the itinerary! This workshop is perfect for movie loving friend groups, team outings, company outings, and students studying Media, Performing Arts, or Film.

This workshop is an unforgettable and enriching three hours of everything that goes into the production of a movie. You will learn what it’s like behind the scenes by practicing how to professionally handle camera equipment, learn editing software, and experience directing, producing, and shooting actual scenes in a studio and on the streets of New York! You will also see what it takes to be in front of the camera by acting out a short scene led by one of our acting coaches.

New York City is THE place to get experience with the film industry, considering the countless number of well-known TV shows and movies that have been filmed there. NYC also has a multitude of popular film locations, such as Central Park, Washington Square Park, the Empire State Building… The list goes on and on! Join us in this unique and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

“A fantastic hands-on program! This is the perfect way for students to see blockbuster TV
and movie locations and then put the camera into their own hands – our students loved it!”
