WHAT’S FILMING IN NYC: MARCH 2019

New York City is buzzing with film shoots this month, from returning shows like Billions and Mr. Robot, to new shows like Fosse/Verdon and Wu-Tang: An American Saga. Let’s check out the full list.
Mr. Robot
Starring: Rami Malek, Christian Slater
Filming: Henry Street & Pike Street, Manhattan
Fresh off his Oscar win for Bohemian Rhapsody, Rami Malek returns to Mr. Robot for a final season of the hacker thriller, set to air on USA later this year.

Divorce
Starring: Sarah Jessica Parker, Thomas Haden Church
Filming: Bloomingdales, White Plains
Filling our Sex and the City void is Divorce, the comedy-drama starring Sarah Jessica Parker as she navigates a divorce with her no ex-husband, played by Thomas Haden Church.
Billions
Starring: Paul Giamatti, Damian Lewis
Filming: Water Street & Main Street, Brooklyn
The fourth season of this financial drama premieres on Showtime later this month.
Succession
Starring: Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin
Filming: 58th Street & 8th Avenue, Manhattan
The first season of the HBO drama aired last summer, and season two is expected to come later in 2019. We can’t wait to see more of the dysfunctional Roy family as they transition their global media company among lots of family drama.
Law & Order: SVU
Starring: Mariska Hargitay
Filming: Chelsea Piers, Manhattan
Current Season 12 of SVU allows it to be tied with Gunsmoke for the longest running drama in the U.S., and we can’t wait for Olivia Benson to solve more cases in NYC.
The Blacklist
Starring: James Spader, Megan Boone
Filming: Morningside Avenue & 122nd Street, Manhattan
The 9th season of this FBI crime thriller on NBC just began last month.
Wu-Tang: An American Saga
Starring: Siddiq Saunderson, Shameik Moore
Filming: Water Street & Wall Street, Manhattan
Taking place at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic of the 1990s, twelve young black men turn to music instead of crime in this true story about the Wu-Tang Clan. The series is created by RZA and Alex Tse and is set to premiere on Hulu
Fosse/Verdon
Starring: Sam Rockwell, Michelle Williams
Filming: 53rs Street & Madison Avenue
This biographical miniseries will tell the relationship between iconic director/choreographer Bob Fosse and Broadway dancer Gwen Verdon, coming to FX on April 9th.
City on a Hill
Starring: Kevin Bacon
Filming: Steiner Studios, Brooklyn
Set mostly in Boston, this new drama is set to premiere on Showtime in June. The series is based on an idea by Ben Affleck, telling a fictionalized account of the “Boston Miracle,” with a group of cops taking on a family of car robbers.
Blue Bloods
Starring: Donnie Wahlberg, Tom Selleck
Filming: Broadway Stages, Brooklyn
The CBS police procedural is in the thick of it’s ninth season, with more NYC locations than ever.
